Overview

Operating both as an internal consultant and an external trainer and auditor, I provide a variety of Web Accessibility services ranging from facilitating the stand-up of Accessibility practices on an enterprise level, establishing and building team procedures, to independent consultations for project-based  for web, iOS, and Android product teams and services.

Process

As a Digital Accessibility Consultant, I'm passionate about championing accessibility across the digital landscape. My work involves designing and refining internal processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure that every digital touchpoint is accessible to all users. I create comprehensive documentation and advocate for best practices that guide not just our internal teams but also external partners, ensuring a unified approach to accessible design.

Through consultations, I share my expertise with UX Architects, Content Strategists, Visual and Interaction Designers, Developers, and Quality Assurance teams, fostering a collaborative environment where accessibility is a shared priority. I help teams conduct thorough audits of web, iOS, and Android services to identify and address accessibility barriers, leading efforts in defect remediation triage, prioritization, and solution development.

My role extends to providing targeted training for Product, UX, Development, and QA teams, ensuring they are well-equipped to create inclusive experiences. By working closely with DEI, Risk, and Compliance groups, I help weave accessibility into the fabric of our organization, driving not just compliance, but a genuine enthusiasm for creating digital experiences that are open to everyone.
I firmly embrace the disability rights principle, "Nothing about us without us," understanding that true accessibility can only be achieved with the active involvement of the communities for whom the designs are serving. There is no substitute the lived experiences of native users with disabilities.
The impact of my team's commitment to digital accessibility has garnered recognition from prestigious outlets like American Banker, Forrester, and Business Journal, highlighting our role as leaders in the field.

I've had the honor of sharing my own insights and strategies through guest trainings and presentations with esteemed organizations such as The New York Times and Pratt Institute, further spreading the message of accessibility.

My speaking engagements at industry-leading conferences, including Project Voice, Ai4, World Usability Day, and World IA Day, underscore our dedication to promoting digital accessibility. I am deeply committed to making digital experiences universally accessible, and fostering a more inclusive digital world.
